Nina Ultra Pro Punki Pink
I’m in a really strange mood today – while I was at Sally’s picking up some hair dye I decided that I really wanted obnoxiously bright fluorescent pink nails so I bought a bottle of Nina Ultra Pro Punki Pink.
Nail Care Day 2
Yesterday I started treating my nails with Julep’s Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum – three treatments later this is Day 2. Let’s see how my nails are doing….
Products Used: Julep Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum, Julep Rock Star Hand Creme
Nail Color: Sally Hansen Insta Dri In Record Lime

Julep Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum
This post is all about nail health. About two weeks ago Julep sent me a “Get Wedding Ready” email with a game plan for getting your nails ready for that very special day. My Fiance and I are set to be wed this August so this topic is highly relevant to my life right now. That email inspired a feeling of panic as I looked down at my fingers and realized just how ragged my cuticles and surrounding skin looked. Out of all the suggested products the Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum seemed like the best answer to my problem.
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t had anything new for a few days – I’ve been rocking naked nails to prep for Monday when my Julep order should be here. I ordered the Mighty Nail and Cuticle Serum in the hopes of repairing the skin around my nails. I’ll be doing a review of my experience with the product after a few weeks of use.
Meanwhile…Don’t Read, a book review blog I follow, is hosting a really fun Mad Lib contest inspired by the plots of Dan Brown’s previous novels. The winner will receive a hard copy of Brown’s new book, Inferno!

I’m quite a bookworm when I’m not painting my nails, so I had a lot of fun with this
Check it out here and read my entry (it’s extremely silly!) -
P.s. It’s more fun if you don’t peek at the story first and just write down your mad lib answers.
See y’all on Monday! xoxo – Julie
My Favorite Summer Polishes
When it comes to fashion and style the weather affects my color choices a lot which is clearly reflected in my list of current favorite nail shades.
Julep Sea Salt Jill
Julep Jill was the Sea Salt polish I got in my Sea Salt Mystery Box - I received it in the middle of the 30 Day Nail Art Challenge I was hosting so I haven’t had a chance to swatch it until now.
Back in March I did a tutorial post on How I Paint My Nails in which I detail how I use a nail art brush dipped in nail polish remover to clean up my manicures. Since doing that post, I tried the Sally Hansen No More Mistake Manicure Clean-Up Pen – and here’s my review!
