14 Day Pre-Spring Challenge: Yellow

What a weekend! We just got back into town today after our weekend getaway. We had a fantastic time! It was a much needed break for us both.

On the drive home I spent most of my time thinking of a design I could do for Day 1 of the 2 Week Pre-Spring Challenge currently being hosted by Mommy Loves Nail Polish and Polish Aholic. Be sure to check out the main page here. I just looked through some of the entries and there are some gorgeous manis!

For my look I decided to go with Julep Blake, a lovely yellow creme. I used 3 coats to get a nice opaque color.

On my accent nails I used one coat of Sinful Colors Snow Me White and then used my dotting tool to add polka dots with Blake and Zoya Maya. (I finally got my much anticipated Zoya colors in the mail on Friday right before we left town!)

I’m really happy with how this turned out and glad to be back. Now to catch up on everything I’ve missed over the weekend!
